HelpSchools.net: Detailed User Agreement and Privacy Statement
How it Works
We believe in our children and the American education system. We believe that there is more to an education than classes. A well rounded education includes extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as sports, band and choir. Unfortunately, with today’s budgetary constraints, many of these activities have been or are in danger of being eliminated. HelpSchools has developed a program that responds to these budget cuts and helps to maintain these important activities.
We have developed relationships with many companies across the country and around the world, who have agreed to pay us a fee for directing purchasing customers to their websites. In turn, HelpSchools donates a majority of those fees to the school designated by our visitors.
Some of our affiliates do not allow a customer to select a school to receive the donation. In those few cases, we will automatically direct the donated funds to a “School of the Month”, which is featured on the main page of our website.
Finally, we give you our word that we will distribute every penny. However, it is not cost effective for us to do so for small amounts. It simply would cost us more than the amount donated. As a result, our policy is to hold onto donations until we have at least ten dollars for a particular school. At that point, we will distribute the funds. On December 31, any small amounts not distributed will be sent to the appropriate State’s high school athletic association.
